  6.              CyberMap - A kickrom mapper for phase 5 products

  9. CyberMap  is  a  tool  to copy a kickimage or the current Kickstart rom to a ram shadow.
  10. This  speeds  up  Rom  operation  and  increases general throughput of your
  11. system.
  12.  
  13. Use CPROM argument to copy the built-in roms to ram shadow.  Give a filename
  14. to load kickimage.  See examples below.
  15.  
  16. Requierments:
  17. -------------
  18.  
  19.   A4000:          o Commodore 040 card, CyberStorm MK1
  20.                   o >1 MB FastRam on your A4000 Mainboard (!)
  21.                     (Caution: Check RAM size jumper on mainboard !)
  22.                   o raw 512 kB KickRomImage ($f80000 Image) for A4000
  23.                     (needs "A4000 magic" resident)
  24.                   o Good luck ... :-)  it will work or not !
  25.  
  26.   A3000:          o CyberStorm MK2
  27.                   o regular Kickstart rom installed, no bootroms !
  28.                   o raw 512 kB KickRomImage ($f80000 Image) for A3000
  29.                     (anything > Kick 2.04 will do the job)
  30.                     (needs "A3000 bonus" resident)
  31.  
  32.   A2000:          o Blizzard 2060
  33.                   o >4 MB FastRam on Blizzard 2060
  34.                   o Enabled MAPROM Jumper  ( see manual )
  35.                   o raw 512 kB KickRomImage ($f80000 Image) for A2000
  36.                     (anything > Kick 2.04 will do the job)

  38.   General:        o SetPatch & 680x0.libary MUST NOT be loaded !!!!!
  39.                   o Do not use Rekick or MMUmagic Kickimages. It will not work.
  40.                   o built-in Kickstart release 2.04 or higher.

  46.  Add the following line to the start of your startup-sequence

  48.   <cybmap-path>/CyberMap  <options> <filename|CPROM>

  55.    > CyberMap MR devs:kickstart         ; Load kickimage to shadow

  62.    F=FORCE/S:       o  Use the FORCE Keyword to load the image with
  63.                        a) either the same or newer ROM Images as the image
  64.                           currently loaded
  65.                        b) or if the image CRC is wrong.

  67.    MR=MROM/S:       o  Set this , if used on CyberStorm MK1 or A3640
  68.    B2=B2060/S:      o  Set this , if used on B2060
  69.    MK2/S:           o  Set this , if used on CyberStorm MK2

  71.    CPROM=COPYROM/S  o  Copy current rom to shadow.
  72.    FILE             o  Filename and path of Kickstart image.
  73.  
  74.    RF=RESETFMEM/S   o  Force using Resetcode in ChipMem
  75.    RC=RESETCMEM/S   o  Force using Resetcode in FastMem
  76.  
  77.    V=VERBOSE/S      o  Output diagnostics (Use only for debugging)

  82.                   o  Add support for A12x0 Blizzard cards
  83.                   o  Add autodetection for supported accellerator cards

  85. Known Bugs:
  86. -----------

  88.         o Sometimes RESET code does not work ! Reset with three
  89.           finger salute. Try RC or RF argument.
  90.  
  91.         o The A4000 maprom feature doesn't work on some A4000 computers.
  92.           Please check requierments. MapRom option uses undokumented
  93.           features of your A4000 system.
